Cheryl Lyone was born in Channelview, Texas. She is the oldest of four children. Due to her mothers illness Cheryl and her siblings ended up in the Texas foster care system. From a very young age Cheryl demonstrated strong artistic abilities. Her vivid imagination was her escape from the extreme alienation she felt growing up. At 9 years old after watching Judy Garland in Meet Me in St. Louis she fell in love with the movies. She knew then in her soul that she wanted to be a part of this expressive medium.
